The iSi Soda Siphon 26-Ounce Stainless Steel makes it easy to enjoy drinking carbonated water. I have had siphons for years, but worried recently about the aluminum container that seemed to be producing small pieces into my drinks so I got this stainless steel container. I have had it for over a year and have had no problems and enjoy the bubbly water!

I bought this iSi Soda Siphon 26-Ounce Stainless Steel so I could always have fresh soda on hand, and have it always cold without worrying about it going flat. So far, so good. I am very impressed by the quality of this item, it seems like you could drop it off a balcony and have it survive; all heavy stainless steel bottle, heavy machined male connector for the charger, heavy stainless holder for the charger, even the plastic nozzle and handle feel solid, and there is a 4 hole screen at the tip of the nozzle that is stainless. Would recommend for anyone except those needing a large volume of soda water.

Compared to club soda, this tastes much better in bourbon and soda and wine spritzers. Unlike some other reviewers I find the fizz, using the same CO2 cartridges, to be superior to club soda in bottles. This might be attributable to a flaw I found when first charging the bottle: Unless I push the valve lever up, it leaks CO2 while charging. But once I noticed that, the charge is very strong, and stays strong until empty. The first stream out of the bottle can be forceful, and splash your drink around if you are not careful. It’s nice to always have cold seltzer water handy.

Works fine, instructions are pretty straightforward. There are youtube videos that show how to load it as well. Also, it takes the generic co2 cartridges so you don’t have to buy expensive branded ones. One hint, make sure the water is cold before charging it, the colder the better.Colder water absorbs co2 more easily which means makes it more fizzy.

I’ve stopped drinking soda for health reasons and this is great to make carbonated water. I just made my juices (fresh lemonade), limeade, or a frozen concentrate) concentrated so that when I add the carbonated water it doesn’t water down the juice.
